LAFT Chat How it works Editing and deleting conversations

LAFT Chat

LAFT Chat allows users to send messages to each other directly in LAFT. LAFT Chat is part of LAFT Proff , so you must have an active subscription to this to use the solution.

How it works

You will always see the LAFT Chat icon in the bottom right. If you have received a new message, a red number will appear with the number of unread messages.

To start a new conversation, click “+ New conversation”.

Then you can choose between other users in LAFT. Currently, the following roles can send messages to each other:
Administrator, Property Manager, Business Manager, Manager, Owner, Contractor, Cleaner, Cleaning Department Manager and Property Allocator.

You can choose whether you want to send the message to one person, or to several at once. If you select several, you will be able to give the group conversation a name:

In the example above, Helene will send a message to Andreas in one conversation, and in another conversation a group conversation is created with Helene, Jonas, and Andreas. When Andreas opens LAFT, it will look like this:

The dialog is displayed as you are used to from other messaging services, where what you have sent yourself is blue, while what you receive from others is gray. There is also a color indicator of whether the user is active/logged in or not. If a green circle appears behind the name, the user is active:

Editing and deleting conversations

Users with access could edit, add and remove participants, change read and write permissions for users, update names of group conversations, and delete conversations.

When editing a conversation, a modal like this appears:
